Retired after 40 years working in education. Final position: Her Majesty’s Inspector of Schools. 38 years boating experience, mainly cruising the Thames Estuary and Eastern and South Coasts. Member of BOC since its formation in 2004. Chairman of BOC for 6 years between 2013 and 2019. National Events Co-ordinator for the past three years.

In the post of South Coast Co-ordinator, my aims are to: promote the Broom marque and membership of the BOC; encourage the Region’s members to assist in the organisation of Regional events; and, keep the members well informed about the Club’s activities, through the use of newsletters, video-conferencing and social media.
