South Coast End-of-Season Lunch
South Coast Region marks the end of the 2023 season in style!
Twenty two members and their guests gathered at The Creek Restaurant, Haslar Marina, Portsmouth on Saturday, 25th November for an “End of Season” Lunch organised by Jan and Warwick Morgan. Our thanks to them for all their help in making the event so successful.
This lunch was a good chance to: welcome members who had recently joined the BOC; share memories of boating activities during the year; and, start to plan for the 2024 season.
One event has already been booked: the ever popular “Early Season” Lunch that will take place at The Boathouse, Hythe Marina on Sunday, 25th February 2024, kindly organised by Julia and John Greenhalf. Other members are also coming forward with suggestions and offers to help lead events next season.
The South Coast Region has had an excellent track record for organising a full and varied programme of activities for the members to enjoy. Although we no longer have a Coordinator, I’m sure this tradition will continue. John and I are very willing to help in any way we can to make sure this happens, especially by circulating the details of planned events by email and on the BOC web-site.
