Carole Rowe awarded Chairman’s Letter of Commendation, April 2023
Following a presentation of the results of the recent members survey to the Committee on 22nd April, which was very well received, Pete Fishwick, Ireland Regional Coordinator, proposed that Carole Rowe be awarded a Chairman’s Letter of Commendation for all the expertise, hard work and initiative Carole displayed in not only constructing the survey, but also in gathering the responses received into bar and pie charts to make the information easy to both analyse and display.
The Committee unanimously approved the proposal and it is very pleasant to report that a Letter of Commendation was sent to Carole on the 28th of April, 2023, in recognition of her contribution to the success of the survey. The results of the survey, as presented to the Committee, can be seen on this web-page.

CHAIRMAN’S LETTER OF COMMENDATION
It is with great pleasure that I write to inform you that the Committee of the Broom Owners Club have unanimously voted to award you a Chairman’s Letter of Commendation.
This Commendation is awarded in recognition of the enthusiasm and expertise you lent to the conduct of the survey of members of the Club. The survey very successfully achieved its aims and attracted more than enough responses to ensure that statistically the results could be used confidently in furthering the aims of the Club.
Following a presentation of the results of the survey to the Committee, where they saw the quality of the information and the way it was displayed, Pete Fishwich proposed that you be nominated for a Chairman’s letter of Commendation and the Committee unanimously approved the proposal.
In agreeing the proposal, the committee commented on the evidence of the hard work and initiative that had obviously gone into the preparation of the survey and display of the analysis of the results. I would like to add my personal thanks for the help you provided and for the cheerful way you took up challenges as they arose. It really is a job well done.
