Broom Owners Club

It was a thoroughly enjoyable and successful weekend, well in the tradition of the Broom Owners Club, held at a suitable location as befits this prestigious marque. The event went off smoothly, which demonstrates how well it was planned, and how much effort went in to the planning and preparation to ensure it was so, by all those hard-working members who gave up their free time and added their expertise to make it happen. Despite the doubters, getting together in an atmosphere of friendship bound by common interest still has its appeal. The new format, of offering a central point for the AGM and dinner, with a multiple of accommodation choices close by, worked well and the relative ease of communications, with good links to Europe, Ireland and the UK, may have played a significant role in attracting members, as did the full programme of activities which surrounded the AGM. Antonina has now circulated a feed-back request, which will help with future planning, identify areas of improvement and hopefully suggest new ideas for the future, so it is vitally important that as many members as possible, whether you attended or not, (particularly if you were unable to attend) fill out and return the feed-back request. It will only take a few minutes, but the information it will provide will be instrumental in helping to plan more enjoyable events in the future.
