I am very pleased to write to award you with a Chairman’s Letter of Commendation from the Broom Owners Club. This award is presented to members who have enhanced the good name and reputation of the Club and have contributed in a significant way to the enjoyment of the Club by members. It recognises your contribution to the success of the 20th anniversary AGM, an important milestone in the Club, of which you are a long-standing and respected member.

The award is presented to you for your collaboration in an extensive overhaul of our digital infrastructure. The resulting upgrade of the website and the modernising of a number of web-pages, stream-lined operations and demonstrated exceptional competence and resilience in the face of substantial technical challenges, particularly in the area of our website backend upgrades. This professional expertise was of great benefit and the valuable free time that you invested in the project over an extended period, is very much appreciated by the Club.

The work that you did on behalf of the Club to ensure an efficient, attractive and successful ‘selling page’ for the AGM is also invaluable, and the entertaining and informative video which you produced to advertise the 20th Anniversary AGM weekend, drew favourable comment from members and enhanced the experience for end-users, as did the user-friendly design of the whole AGM package.

Alex, this really is a great effort on behalf of the Club, which demonstrates both your impressive competence and your willingness to lend your abilities to the benefit of the Club.
