This award is made in recognition of the impact your blog ‘Boaters on Tour’ has had, and the way that your blogs reflect so favourably on Broom Boats, their adaptability and their suitability for long distant cruising. Additionally, the informative nature of your blogs is particularly encouraging to other members of the Broom Owners Club, containing as they do much advice and many tips for navigating to various destinations in The Netherlands and useful information about the marinas you visit, as well as technical details on how to improve and adapt Broom boats to be even more comfortable and practical.
As members of the Broom Owners Club yourselves, your blogs reflect favourably on the Club, and we are proud that two of our members are making such a significant contribution to the boating community and it gives me great pleasure to be able to present this award of a Chairman’s Commendation to you both, which was recommended by Keith Rowe and supported by Don Walker and Club members.
