Ocean 34 for sale from 1st August 2022

Hello BOC members,

Thought it was worth mentioning here that my boat “Shell Seeker” is going to be available to buy as from 1st August 2022. As you probably know Andy Nurse passed away last October, and it’s not realistic for me to keep the boat.

Shell Seeker was built in 1998, launched in 1999 and has a single Perkins 135hp engine. Andy and I have owned it since 2009, Andy carrying out most of the maintenance himself. It has what I’ve been told (and I find) is the preferable layout of a larger galley space and a more separate forward cabin.

The upholstery is original and quite old-fashioned looking but in excellent condition. Andy upgraded the charging system soon after buying the boat and installed a battery/charging monitor.

Plenty of details available to anyone who may be interested in buying it.

It’ll be taken out of the water in early August, anti-fouled, surveyed, hull polished,etc and will then be for sale with Ting Dene Marina at Caversham Lakes, Reading, which is where it’s lying now.

I’ve been told that if I introduce a buyer to them they will reduce their commission.
