LETTER OF COMMENDATION
It is with great pleasure that I write to award you with the very first Broom Owners Club Chairman’s Commendation, for the pleasure you have brought many members through your FaceBook postings of your cruises during 2020, through some wonderful Finnish cruising grounds, and the subsequent description of cruising in Finland which was printed in the last edition of Sweeping Statements.
During a difficult year, when many members could not even get to their boats, let alone use them for cruising, it was a pleasure to see the photographs you posted and the descriptions you provided about your and Torsten’s Broom 9/70, “Stella Polaris” and the voyages you undertook. Thank you for keeping us entertained with your travels and congratulations on the award of the Chairman’s Commendation.
