Simon, many thanks for your reply which answers some of my questions. I’d still like to find a drawing if at all possible, if they still exist. Were the windows manufactured by Brooms, or by Trend or similar?

Dear member
The windows are generally a rebated flang construction with an internal pressure plate frame screwed from the outside into captive nuts in the pressure plate.
The early brooms all used this system and the windows are mitred with corner stiffening brackets behind rubber blocks most of them will leak from time to time ,dependant on the…Read More

I have an annoying leak in one of my saloon windows and am trying to understand the structure (how the al extrusions fit together) so I can figure out where it’s coming from. Has anyone got any drawings of these windows showing their construction? If so, I’d be very grateful for a copy.

Hi Barry how many of the photos did you get ? Should of been 4 showing top and bottom mounts and overall with both mounts shall I resend via your email I am back there tomorrow if you need others
