  • Simon, many thanks for your reply which answers some of my questions. I’d still like to find a drawing if at all possible, if they still exist. Were the windows manufactured by Brooms, or by Trend or similar?

    The windows are generally a rebated flang construction with an internal pressure plate frame screwed from the outside into captive nuts in the pressure plate.

  • I have an annoying leak in one of my saloon windows and am trying to understand the structure (how the al extrusions fit together) so I can figure out where it’s coming from. Has anyone got any drawings of these windows showing their construction? If so, I’d be very grateful for a copy.

  • Hi Barry how many of the photos did you get ? Should of been 4 showing top and bottom mounts and overall with both mounts shall I  resend via your email I am back there tomorrow if you need others
