Craic'ing time in Killaloe

The Broom flotilla moored at KillaloeUK and Irish members joined forces at the weekend for a fantastic weekend on the river Shannon, joined by staff from Broom Boats and the Irish dealer, Aghinver Boat Company. 17 members made the trip across from the UK, with several hiring boats to enjoy the full Irish waterway experience, and others enjoying a stay at the Lakeside Hotel in Ballina. 14 Irish members were present at the event on boats ranging from a Broom 30 to a 425, with one new member signed up during the weekend.

Irish Event - Details for Non Members

Over the May Bank Holiday the irish Region will be hosting representatives from Broom Boats and six couples from the main island of the British Isles.

 We will be based in Killaloe and if you own a Broom boat and would like to meet them then please send me an e-mail via the 'contact us' section of this web site. You will be welcome to join us at the Lakeside Hotel, Killaloe, for a meal and chat on the evening of Saturday 4th May. For those who would like to participate in a trip through the locks and a tour of the power station at Ardnachrusha would be welcome, provided you have filled in a membership application form before then.
