Eastern Region Events
BOC Eastern Christmas Party
Hello to the Eastern Region.
We had a great evening at the Royal Norfolk and Suffolk Yacht Club on Saturday. Organised for us by Andrew for which a very large Thank you.
In the context of “thank yous” - Thank you to all who put their hand in their pocket for the gift for Andrew. He was presented with a bottle of bubbly, and the remaining monies will be used to obtain something for YB2.
The food was fantastic, well done to the RN&SYC and their chef. Included are some “still” images, taken by Keith Rowe.
And then of course there is the video, produced by Peter and directed by Elaine Ward. The link to that is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbuS0WEC4VE It shows what the Eastern Region and their Brooms get up to during the year.
We will have our usual fitting out supper during April, (more details, date and venue later), the Brundall Boat show on 18th May 2019, and the Annual August Beccles Week end.
And at the moment just a list of possibilities:

Talk on cruising the East coast ports, moorings, entrance and passage plans etc.
Photo competition running throughout the season with the possibility of creating a 2020 calendar (small charge with funds going into the pot!)
A Beginners cruise

Mid season get together
Lady's day, ie: Garden visit, Boat handling, mooring up, Knots, Cookery demonstration, Fashion show,
