Maggie B - Deck renewal

Brian Bland had always wanted a Broom 37 and for over a year he watched the website of Newark Marine. They had one for sale, but first he had to sell his Freeman 33 Sportsman. Eventually they found a buyer and sold the Freeman, so they were free to go to Newark to look at Lymina as she was then called. Built in 1969, she was one of four of the first Continentals built with GRP hull and wooden topsides. After an hour spent looking over her Brian made an offer on the boat which was accepted the next day.
