2020/21 Committee members
Your committee meets four times a year to plan events and services for members. The team is made up of regional coordinators, functional specialists and honorary roles.
As the club has members throughout the UK and the European Region, we do rely on our regional coordinators to provide an impetus for events in different areas. If you feel there's not enough happening near you, then get in touch and offer to help - or perhaps we don't yet have a coordinator for your area, in which case - it could be YOU!
In regions with only a handful of members we have appointed regional representatives who act as a point of contact and offer cruising advice to visiting members. Do get in touch if you think you could fulfill this role in your area.
OFFICERS’ TASK LISTS
Like any Club, running events, producing publications such as the magazine and web-site and making sure that membership records and subscriptions are properly-managed depend entirely on the willingness of members to come forward and become involved. But to do so may seem a daunting step! All committee positions are open for election at each AGM and job descriptions for all Officer roles can be found in the Notes to the Constitution (published on the BOC web-site under ‘Home’ ‘Constitution and Policies’).

Inevitably, these are written in a very generalised way. To help members understand exactly what is involved in carrying out each role, most Officers have produced a Task list, setting out a blow-by-blow description of what they do.
To see any of these lists, simply click on the role in the list below!
